Last night the boys and I went to an exhibition match featuring John McEnroe and Jim Courier. There was plenty of (seemingly staged) “You cannot be serious!” tantrums and racquet throwing to ensure that his Super Brat legacy is never forgotten…

but make no mistake…

…at 51 years old, big Mac can play. He and Courier were really generous with their time and energy — and they put on quite a show. I’m convinced that no one loves or cares about the game of tennis more than McEnroe. It’s neat to see him give back. (I didn’t realize that he has SIX children and at least one tattoo!)
