Throwback Thursday

So I went online to figure out dates for a trip to Cincinnati for the US Open Series this summer. We weren’t able to go last year because it started at the same time as the kids’ school year. When I went to check out the school schedule for conflicts with this year’s event, I realized that the calendar I was looking up was for Drew’s senior year. At first, I was really confused. The calendar year said 2010-2011. Wait a minute, 2010 is this year — Drew doesn’t graduate until next… Oh. my. gosh. Drew’s senior year begins…this year. I’m not thinking about it. I’m not thinking about it…
Now that I’m over the shock, I’m excited about the fact that we can see two days of the tournament and still be home for the first day of school. We had such a great time the last time we went. I was looking through our old trip photos and it made me smile.

The kids after a night session, posing for my favorite photo. Ever.

Tanner waiting for James Blake’s autograph, peeking over two staffers.

The beginning of Drew’s obsession with Power Ranger eyewear.

Dad got a cardboard box from the concession stand to shield Mom from the heat.

Got this photo of Federer with my phone as he was heading to the practice courts. TOTAL accident. I was meeting the kids, turned around and there he was.
