Went to my favorite bead store today — just in time for a bead show. The focal bead/pendant of this necklace is a Kazuri Bead. I’d never worked with these before. They are hand crafted in Kenya and provide much needed income to the workers. The colors in the photo aren’t exactly accurate; I need to figure out how to take photos of my jewelry. In addition to the Kazuri pendant, The I made some of my newspaper beads to match. So this piece was a lot of fun.
